The Advance trading mode on the Quote UI is a trading interface designed to resemble the UI of a perps exchange or traditional brokerage account. The layout is streamlined for a familiar environment, introducing deeper control parameters that expand the exchange functionalities.
Beyond standard size selection and leverage, Advanced mode introduces two critical inputs to fine-tune order behaviour:
Urgency This parameter determines how aggressively the order interacts with the order book. High urgency will prioritize immediate fills by crossing the spread, while lower urgency focuses on passive fills to minimize slippage.
Strictness This setting defines the execution bounds. It dictates how closely the system must adhere to your target price or execution schedule, allowing you to manage the trade-off between fill certainty and price protection.
